How to Project Wirelessly

Teachers this year will use the Epson EasyMP Network Projection software in order to project wirelessly from their tablets.

Connecting

  1. Launch “EasyMP Network Projection” from your Start Screen.
  2. If this is your first time launching EasyMP, you may see a dialog asking if you want to use Quick Connection Mode or Advanced Connection Mode.
    1. Select Advanced Connection Mode.
    2. Tick the box labelled, Set the selected Connection Mode as the default mode for future connections.
    3. Click OK.
  3. You may see a dialog asking if you want to disable the firewall. Click Yes. If you receive a UAC prompt, click Yes again.
  4. When EasyMP launches it will automatically search for projectors. On our wireless network this will fail to find any results. Click OK to continue.
  5. Look at your projector. You should have the projector set to the LAN source.
    1. You will see the projector's name, IP address, and keyword. If you do not see this, you are on the wrong source.
  6. Click Manual Search at the top of the EasyMP window.
  7. Type the IP address shown on the projector into the dialog that appears. Click OK.
  8. You should see the projector's status in the projector listing.
  9. Click the checkbox next to the projector, then click Connect at the bottom right.
  10. You will be prompted for the projector's keyword. Enter the keyword displayed on the projector and click OK.
  11. A toolbar will appear in the bottom-right of your screen where you can control the projector options.
  12. To disconnect from the projector, click “Disconnect” on the right side of the projection toolbar.

Saving Projectors in the Profile

EasyMP allows you to save the address of your projector(s) in your profile. These addresses will change from time to time, but it may we worth saving them in order to reduce effort getting connected.

  1. Start while viewing your projector list. Check the box next to that projector on the left.
  2. Click the Save in the profile button.
  3. Give your profile a name. You can call it “My Projectors”, or whatever you like.
  4. The next time you launch EasyMP, instead of clicking Manual Search, click the downward triangle next to Profile at the top, then select the named profile you created.
  5. Your projectors saved in the profile will appear in the listing. If a projector does not show as being offline or not connected, it's IP address may have changed. You may have to reconnect to that projector using Manual Search.

  2. Click Set options.
  3. Click Restore Defaults.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Exit EasyMP.
  6. Open EasyMP.
  7. Select Advanced Connection Mode and tick the box, Set the selected Connection Mode as the default mode.
  8. Click OK.
