Reset Laptop Power

Resetting your laptop's power can resolve a variety of problems. You will need a small poking implement such as a paperclip or thumb tack.

Shut down your computer.
Remove the charging cable.
Flip the laptop over. Find the reset pinhole on the bottom. It's usually near the center. If you're having trouble, consult the video for your laptop model.
Insert the paperclip into the pinhole and push the reset button. You should feel a click when you press it.
Reconnect the charging cable and turn the computer on. Check if the problem is resolved.
