Add the School Calendar to Your Google calendar

  1. Login to Moodle and open up Google Calendar by clicking the link on the left.
  2. Hover over “About Us” on the main page, then “Daily Information”, then click “School Calendar”.
  3. At the bottom-right of the school calendar page you will see a button labelled “+ Google Calendar”. Click it.
  4. A window with your personal calendar will appear asking if you want to add the La Salle High School calendar to your calendar, click “Yes, add this calendar”.
  5. You should now see events from the school calendar in your calendar.

Add PowerSchool Class Calendars to Your Google Calendar

  1. Log onto Moodle and click on your Google Apps Calendar.
  2. Leave your Google Calendar open, and open anew tab or web page. In the new window, log in to your PowerSchool account.
  3. On the left, click “My Calendars”.
  4. In the column that says “Class Assignments Only” right click the word “Subscribe” in the first row, then click “Copy link address.”
  5. Leave PowerSchool open, and click on your tab/window where you have your Google Calendar open.
  6. Click the small arrow box to the right of where it says “Other calendars,” and select “Add by URL.”
  7. Now a pop-up window will appear with a space to paste in the URL you copied from PowerSchool (right click in the input box and select “Paste”).
  8. Now you need to repeat steps 4-7 for every course in PowerSchool, one at a time.
  9. Verify that a new calendar has shown up in Google Calendars for each of your classes.

Adding the Lunch Menu to your Google Calendar

  1. Start at the La Salle Homepage while also logged into your La Salle High School email account.
  2. Move your mouse over the “About Us” tab and wait for the drop down menu to pop up.
  3. Move the mouse over the “Daily Information”, then click the “Lunch Menu” to the right in the menu.
  4. The lunch menu will come up in a calendar.
  5. At the bottom right of the calendar click the button +Google Calendar.
  6. This will open your Google Calendar.
  7. An option menu will pop up, Click “Yes, add this calendar”.
  8. This will add the lunch menu to your Google Calendar.
