 ====== Fax Services ====== ====== Fax Services ======
-There are two ways you can send faxes at La Salle. You can send the fax from the machine itself, or you can send a fax from your computer. Sending faxes from your computer has the advantage of not requiring you to print your document.
-
-====== Send a Fax from your Computer ======
-Two devices at La Salle High School offer the capability to fax from your computer. These are the Main Office Fax, and the West Wing Fax. Functionally they are equivalent. All that will be different is the number the fax comes from. The Main Office Fax sends faxes from (513) 741-2666. The West Wing Fax sends from (513) 741-2679.
-
-  - Open the document you would like to fax. Print the document to the Fax device you would like to send from. A dialog will appear with the Fax settings.
-  - You need to set your User Code if it is your first time sending a fax from your computer.
-    - Click the "User Settings" button.
-    - Type your printing code in the "User code" field.
-    - Click OK.
-  - Go to the "Specify Destination" tab.
-  - In the "Fax Number" field, enter the number "9-" (nine followed by a dash) then the number you would like to fax to.
-    - For example, if I am faxing 741-2666, the number I enter is 9-7412666. You have to enter "9-" in order to get out of our internal phone system.
-    - {{:teachers:lan-fax_destination.png?400|Fax destination example}}
-  - After typing your phone number, click the "Set as Destination" button.
-    - Optionally, you can add an additional destination by entering another phone number and clicking "Set as Destination".
-  - Once you have your destination set you can send the fax. If you need more options you can go to the "Send Options" tab, where you can set options such as the fax header, cover sheet, etc.
-  - If you would like to send the fax and print out a copy of the fax with the confirmation page, click "Send & Print". If you want to just send the fax and print a confirmation page, click "Send". Note that the confirmation page will have a small preview of the sent fax on it.

 +You can send and receive faxes in the Main Office, (513) 741-2666 or in the West Wing, (513) 741-2679.
