Enrolling and Unenrolling Students in Moodle
When a student's schedule is changed, you may have to alter your Moodle course's roster in order to reflect that change. This will usually entail either unenrolling an existing student from your course or enrolling a new one.
How to Enrol a New Student in your Moodle Course
To enroll a new student into one of your Moodle courses:
At the course page, click the gear in the top right then More.
Click Users > Enrolled Users.
Click the Enrol Users button.
Search the student ID or name in the search box and click them. You can add multiple students by searching again.
Click Enrol selected users and cohorts.
Find the student in the enrolled students list.
Click the pencil icon under Groups for the student.
Select the period the student is in from the dropdown.
Click the save icon.

How to Change a Student's Course Section in Moodle
If a student is already enrolled in your course, but is in the wrong section, you can remove them from the old section and add them to the new one by following the steps below.
At the course page, click the gear in the top right then More.
Click Users > Enrolled Users.
Find the student in the enrolled students list.
Click the pencil icon under Groups for the student.
Select the period the student is in from the dropdown.
Click the save icon.
How to Unenrol a Student From Your Moodle Course
If a student has transferred out of your class, you will want to unenrol them from your Moodle course. To do so, follow these steps:
At the course page, click the gear in the top right then More.
Click Users > Enrolled Users.
Find the student in the enrolled students list.
Click the delete icon in the status column on the right.
